The ‘Ground Zero’ article covers the work of five organizations whose work in the library space gives us hope in their continued relevance in fostering learning and critical thinking, especially among communities that are marginalized and underserved.

In a photo essay, we share the work of three organizations from across the country who are intensively working with communities to cater to the educational needs of children who need the most amount of support.

Manasi in her essay titled ‘The Potential of Visual Arts in Language Development’ discusses the intimate links between visual arts and learning, especially those related to languages; at the same time, she makes a case for the need to learn the visual arts independent of their links to learning the written word.
